The past week, we had some very intense urban shootings going on! First of all, our good old friend from Finland, Jussi Mononen, joined our crew. After we spent some days at the Mayrhofen Freeski Open, we decided to film some urban stuff around Innsbruck. Eventhough Jussi's plans have been more pow orientated, everyone was down with filming urban and we collected some nice shots. A DAY AT - GLUNGEZER PARKS

This season we are cooperating with the Glungezer Ski Resort in order build a little snowpark up there! So far, it is looking really sweet. We built up a rail line with more than 10 obstacles in one line, and we try to put some creativity into our rail features as well! So be sure to check it out!! Imma cool bleibn! Cheers!

hope everyone is enjoying the winter so far! We would like to introduce you to our this years movie project. In 2012 headbud productions and the pickings fam will bring you a series of videoblogs, making of stories, behind the scene action and all sorts of content in order to show you how much work, love and hate we put into our movies. Every single shot has to tell a little story which you might not think of while watching the movie. Hey folks! The 2011 Headbud and Pickings Fam movie WHATEVER!? is finally online! If you haven't already seen it hit play and enjoy what we have been working on in the past season! Thanks to everyone who helped us in getting this movie done and thanks to all our sponsors and supporters!

Monster Energy presents WHATEVER!?, a film by Headbud Productions and the Pickings Fam. Freeskiing has grown a lot over the past years. The Progression seems to be unstopable.
We will be an olympic sport with two different disciplines. This is great and opens a lot of doors for all of us. But whatever, we will never forget the „free“ in freeskiing. For us it’s way more than just an olympic sport, it’s a lifestyle which we are all living. We have made a lot of good friends. We have had the freedom to do whatever we wanted to do. We wanna keep our roots and still don’t care about rules, party hard and have a good time while shredding with your friends. „Whatever!?“ is pure skiing from the heart of the alps, filmed in HD for your viewing pleasure.

Glungezer Parks

This year we get the chance to build a snowpark at our home mountain, the Glungezer. The Glungezer is a small ski resort near Innsbruck. Hari Richter, Andi Prugger and Luggi Brucic have been working hard all summer long to create an innovative and creative jib park for you. Last week the first rails and boxes arrived on the mountain. Dachstein - Preseason Shred

The past week we spent some days in beautiful St.Johann im Pongau. It's always a good time there. Check out some skateboarding, golfing and for sure some skiing at the good old Dachstein Glacier.

We've also had the last cinema screening of our movie "Whatever!? in the Diesel Kino/St.Johann.

Thanks to everybody who checked by at our movie premieres, we've had a great time!

Stubai Zoo - Preseason Shred

Last wednesday we shot the intro for "WHATEVER?!", the 2011 headbud and pickings fam movie!

Sölden

Today we (Fabio Studer, Toni Höllwart, Christoph Söllner, Tobi Gratz, Lukas Eisl, Fabi, Mattis) had an awesome kickershoot in Sölden. They did a great job and built an amazing obstacle including a big jump, a hip/cornerjump and other cool stuff to hit. The weather was super nice, it had 15+C° on the mountain. Be sure to check out the footage in the new headbud/pickings fam movie!

Helsinki Part 2

Since our last blog nothing really changed. We partied again in our favourite club in helsinki, the tiger! Gsö got kicked out by security because of spraying a bottle of dom perignon all over the dancefloor! At that point the party was over anyways, so we went home. Next day - hangover day! The crew went to Seurasaari, which is a small island in helsinki, to catch some fresh air since the windows in our hotel rooms are locked and there is now way to get them open! The following day the shoot continued on a mellow quad kink rail! The fun part is, that there is no need to shovel any takeoffs for handrails here in helsinki, because they are already built. Just go and hit it! We did some other really cool spots, but we won't reveal everything. Luggi is not just a very good skier, he also knows how to take some nice photos! Check them out!

Three days ago a small group featuring luggi brucic, christoph söllner, toni höllwart, hari richter, fabi hyden and markus studer headed to helsinki, finland, to get some urban shots done for our upcoming movie! After we arrived in our hotel, we went downtown to have some beers! But as usually the beer turned into vodka, and the party got wild! Anyways, there is tons of snow in the city and handrails everywhere, so we got no time to waste! Tomorrow local hero Jussi Mononen will join us! He will be our guide for the upcoming days! Looking forward to that! Cheers!

Hey guys!

Ispo is over, so Luggi Brucic, Christoph Soellner, Fabi Hyden and Dennis Ranalter decided to go to Serfaus for a little bit park shredding since their is not enough snow here in austria to shoot anything. They actually have a very cool park-setup there, with a lot of creative features. We had our gopros with us and made an edit! enjoy!!

Urban - All Day Every Day

Still in Slovenia, we got some support from the austrian young guns Lukas Eisl und Thomas Steinegger. They arrived in the late evening and we coudn't stop their motivation to hit a handrail we did earlier that day. Eventhough it was dark and there was barely any light they were killing it! The next day we did another urban spot and finally headed back to Austria. But also here in Austria it was snowing pretty hard so the shoot continued. After 3 days of filming the police stoped us! Special thanks to Roli @ BD for the awesome support and a great trip!

Kranjska Gora/Slovenia

Since there is a lot of snow in Slovenia these days, a small group of skiers (Luggi Brucic, Christoph Soellner, Tobi Gratz, Dani Maurer), filmers (fabi hyden), photographers (Markus Rohbacher), team managers (Roland Breitfuss) and casino addicts (all of them) decided to head to Kranjska Gora to shoot some urban for our upcoming movie! Today we have been super productive and shot some handrails! More to come....

a few days back we had the first shoot to our upcoming movie projekt! toni höllwart joined us (fabi hyden, hari richter, andi prugger and reini gruber) here in innsbruck to shoot some urban. we ended up shooting a handrail at night. fabi got hurt and had to go to hospital before we've been done..

Last weekend a small group represeting the Headbud Crew and Pickings Fam went to the International Freeski Film Festival in Annecy/France! We had a great time there! The Partys where awsome, and it was cool to meet a lot of people! Due to the wild drinking nights we didn't get to see all the movies that where shown in the cinema, but we liked what we saw..

On friday night the awards have been given away, and we have been lucky enough to win the award for best european teaser for our new movie "The Factory". Huge Thanks for that!! Check out some impressions....
